The NAPA EasyPay card is a credit card, but it’s a “single purpose” financial tool to let you manage your car maintenance budget.  What sets it apart from other cards?

• On charges greater than $299 there is no interest or fees if paid off in six months.

When we do our courtesy checks on cars, we use the windshield washer, spray the windshield and operate the wipers.  This tells us if the washer is operating, the nozzles are clogged, and what kind of job the wipers are doing.  Beyond obvious physical damage – torn blades, etc., they may be streaking and they may be doing that noisey scrubbing thing as they go back and forth.  Take a long trip in the rain with wipers like that and you’ll go CRAZY.  So how often do you actually use your wipers?  Not very often, so they sit in one spot and “take a set” that is they get bent in one direction and they no longer flip back and forth as they operate, thus the scrubbing.  The sun (ultraviolet light) and oxidation take a toll on them as well.  Solution – change them often and smile when they sweep clean during the next surprise shower.  Test yours now using the windshield washer (don’t operate them dry) then pull in and we’ll put new ones on in about 7.63 minutes!

We had a very successful Groupon deal!  Basically, a half price conventional or synthetic oil change.  Had to get 40 purchases for the deal to “tip” or become active.  That happened at around 9AM.  Ended up with 183 oil changes sold at the end of twenty four hours.  The majority of those are new customers who have yet to discover the “joy” of dealing with the First Landing Autocare crew.  Now it’s our job to convince them they should stay with us.
